Your welcoming attitude and organizational skills will ensure that guests have a memorable dining experience from the moment they arrive. **Responsibilities:** - Greet and welcome guests upon their arrival with a friendly and positive demeanor - Escort guests to their designated tables and present menus promptly - Assist in seating arrangements to optimize dining space efficiently - Answer incoming phone calls, handle reservations, and provide restaurant information as needed - Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host/host station - Collaborate closely with servers and kitchen staff to facilitate smooth service flow - Address guest inquiries, complaints, and requests professionally and courteously - Manage waitlists effectively during busy periods, accurately estimating wait times **Requirements:** - Prior experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred - Strong communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members - Knowledge of food service industry practices and procedures - Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS is advantageous - Ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced environments - Excellent phone etiquette and capability to manage multiple phone lines As a Host/Host, you will be instrumental in upholding our commitment to exceptional guest service and fostering positive guest relationships.
