At 29,000 square feet, Field Day is Huntsville’s ultimate destination for dining and entertainment. With a lively mix of axe throwing, duckpin bowling, karaoke, darts, virtual golf, and a full-service restaurant and bar, we deliver non-stop fun and flavor.
We’re looking for an Expo (Expeditor) who thrives in the heat of service and keeps things moving with speed, accuracy, and attention to detail. If you’re highly organized, cool under pressure, and love being the go-between for kitchen and service staff, we want you on our team.
What You’ll Do:
As the Expo, you’re the last line of defense before food hits the table. You’ll be responsible for ensuring every plate that leaves the kitchen looks great, is complete, and gets to the right place, fast.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate clearly and constantly between the kitchen and front-of-house team
- Check each dish for correct plating, temperature, and quality before it leaves the window
- Organize and coordinate food orders during high-volume service
- Ensure modifications and allergy requests are accurately executed
- Keep expo station clean, stocked, and running smoothly
- Assist with packaging takeout orders or large party trays as needed
- Maintain ticket flow and make sure food is delivered in the correct order and to the correct server or runner
- Help troubleshoot issues with missing or incorrect orders quickly and professionally
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous expo or restaurant experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to stay calm in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Team player who works well with both kitchen and service staff
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
