Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a pleasant stay. You will handle check-ins and check-outs, manage reservations, and assist guests with inquiries. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for hospitality.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with information about the hotel and its amenities.
- Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently, ensuring accuracy in guest accounts.
- Handle reservations via phone systems, online platforms, and in-person requests.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain an organized front desk area, including managing paperwork and guest records.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
- Provide recommendations for local attractions, dining options, and activities to enhance the guest experience.
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures while maintaining a welcoming environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
- Strong communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Familiarity with hotel management software is advantageous.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- A friendly demeanor with a strong commitment to guest relations.
- Knowledge of hospitality management principles is beneficial but not mandatory.
