The Fairfield Inn by Marriott Las Vegas Convention Center is looking for a dynamic and proactive Hotel General Manager with extensive operations management and Marriott brand experience. The General Manager oversees all hotel business, including operations, service delivery, revenue management, sales, and financial results. You will provide hands-on leadership in facilitating guest experiences that exceed expectations while maximizing revenue and controlling expenses.
Responsibilities:
- Establish daily priorities, direct operations, and ensure all guest services run smoothly and efficiently.
- Ensure full compliance with hotel operating controls, policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Lead all key property issues, including capital projects, maintenance, improvements, etc.
- Resolve guest complaints and oversee the subsequent service recovery.
- Responsible for the preparation and subsequent achievement of the hotel's operating budget by managing the ongoing profitability of the hotel, ensuring revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to maintain high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
- Evaluate employee performance and provide immediate feedback to improve productivity and recognize positive performance
- Ensure all decisions are made in the best interest of the hotel.
- Manage hotel staff and human resources-related matters.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of three to five years of experience as a hotel general manager or Operations Manager.
- Must have a full understanding of the brand standards, adherence, and compliance.
- Must be highly motivated and self-directed, with strong initiative and a desire for success.
- Exceptional guest service and guest recovery skills are required.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction
- Must possess strong computer skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Must be a positive leader with a high level of emotional intelligence
- Must possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills and communicate with diplomacy and tact.
- Must have a thorough understanding of P/L, budgets, and best accounting practices.
