Position: Hotel Handyman
Location: Times Square, New York, NY
Compensation: $23

We are partnering up with a boutique hotel located in the heart of Times Square, and we looking for a reliable and hands-on Handyman to assist with basic maintenance and day-to-day upkeep across the property. This role is ideal for someone who’s comfortable with light engineering tasks and has a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance tasks, including:
- Changing lightbulbs and TV remote batteries
- Assessing and reporting issues with mini fridges and other small appliances
- Handling minor repairs (e.g. tightening fixtures, patching small holes, paint touch-ups)
- Conduct routine inspections and identify maintenance needs
- Respond to staff maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in storage and work areas
Requirements:
- PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN HOTELS IS A MUST. Prior experience in general maintenance, repairs, or facility support
- Comfortable with light electrical and mechanical work
- Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently
- Flexibility with scheduling; occasional weekend or evening hours may be required
