Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Change bed linens and towels according to hotel standards.
- Restock guest supplies such as toiletries, coffee, and snacks.
- Clean and maintain common areas including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while performing cleaning tasks.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed, ensuring that linens are clean and well-maintained.
- Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service.
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial work is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and industrial cleaning equipment is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
- Knowledge of housekeeping management practices is beneficial for career advancement within the hospitality sector.
