Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Houseman to join our team. As a vital member of our hospitality staff, you will play a key role in ensuring that our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in housekeeping management and a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service.
Duties
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner and answer any questions they may have
- Clean and restock all hotel public areas, such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and break rooms
- Clean and restock all hotel guest rooms, including changing linens and dusting
- Respond to maintenance and repair requests in a timely manner
- Ensure all areas of the hotel are secure and safe
- Report all maintenance and repair issues to management
- Collect and dispose of all trash and recyclables
- Assist with inventory control and ordering of supplies
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas in accordance with hotel standards.
- Ensure all surfaces are clean, including floors, furniture, fixtures, and windows.
- Change linens and make beds to ensure guest comfort.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and linens as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist with laundry duties as required, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
- Maintain cleanliness in storage areas for cleaning supplies and equipment.

Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial services is preferred.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional hospitality service.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
