Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team, and work 4pm-midnight. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, and towels, are laundered to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. This role is crucial in maintaining the quality and reputation of our establishment, particularly in a hotel environment where guest satisfaction is paramount.
Duties
- Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently, ensuring proper loading and unloading of items.
- Launder various items including linens, towels, uniforms, and other hotel-related fabrics.
- Sort and classify laundry based on color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements.
- Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed, following appropriate procedures for delicate items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry area to promote a safe working environment.
- Inspect laundered items for quality assurance and report any damages or issues to management.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Skills
- Proficient in laundering techniques and understanding of fabric care instructions.
- Experience in a hotel or similar setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of laundry tasks.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
