Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the night shift. The Night Auditor will be responsible for managing front desk operations, performing nightly audits, and providing exceptional customer service to our guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel management and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
Duties
- Perform nightly audits of financial transactions and ensure accuracy in reporting.
- Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs, while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly.
- Handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism and effective phone etiquette.
- Assist with guest relations by providing information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
- Ensure the security of the hotel premises during night hours by monitoring access points and conducting regular checks.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery throughout the night.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and prepare reports for management review.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel management or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong background in customer service with excellent communication skills.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing guest interactions.
- Familiarity with night audit procedures and front desk operations is highly desirable.
- Proficient in using multi-line phone systems and handling various guest inquiries efficiently.
- A passion for hospitality and commitment to providing exceptional guest services.
