We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Front Desk Clerk/Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless guest experience during both day and night shifts. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to handle various front desk operations efficiently.
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival and provide exceptional customer service throughout their stay.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accuracy in guest accounts.
- Conduct night audits, balancing daily transactions and preparing reports for management.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of room availability, reservations, and billing information.
- Assist with phone etiquette by answering calls promptly and providing information about hotel services.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures while maintaining a welcoming environment for guests.
Requirements
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
- Familiarity with night audit processes is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Proficiency in hospitality management software is beneficial but not essential; willingness to learn is key.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
