Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Reservation Agent to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless reservation experience. Responsibilities
- Handle incoming reservation requests via phone, email, and online platforms with professionalism and courtesy.
- Provide accurate information regarding room availability, rates, and resort amenities to potential guests.
- Assist guests with their reservations, including modifications and cancellations while ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Maintain an organized system for tracking reservations and guest preferences to enhance future interactions.
- Collaborate with the front desk team to ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes for guests.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills.
- Promote hotel services and special offers to enhance guest experiences and maximize occupancy rates.
- Utilize phone systems efficiently while maintaining proper phone etiquette during all communications.
Skills
- Proven experience in guest services or customer service roles within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of front desk operations in hotels or resorts is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse clientele; multilingual abilities are highly desirable.
- Proficient in using phone systems and reservation software; familiarity with property management systems is an advantage.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple reservations effectively.
- A friendly demeanor combined with a professional attitude towards guest relations is essential for success in this role.
