Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our sales efforts by managing various administrative tasks, analyzing market trends, and facilitating communication between the sales team and clients. This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively manage multiple priorities while contributing to the overall success of our business development initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the Sales database to ensure accurate tracking of sales activities and customer interactions.
- Support account management by maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and addressing their needs promptly.
- Compile resumes and banquet event orders.
- Collect payments of groups both deposits and final payments.
- Create reservations for groups via rooming lists or sending out reservation links.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales strategies with promotional campaigns.
Experience
- Proven experience in a sales support or coordinator role is preferred.
- Familiarity with Lightspeed to build group billing patterns a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market trends effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for managing multiple tasks efficiently.
