Position: House Attendant | Full Time
Job Summary:
The House Attendant is responsible for the cleanliness of guest corridors, elevators, public spaces, and all assigned areas of the property. Supports room attendants with the removal of trash and linen, and replacement of linen and amenities. The primary work place is located at the hiring site.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Collect dirty linen from Room Attendant carts and deliver to laundry for cleaning, following hotel policy for sorting and use of PPE.
- Collect dirty linen from public areas of hotels, including exercise rooms, pool areas, and/or spa areas.
- Supply clean linen to Room Attendants based on needs of the day.
- Properly stock room attendant cart with appropriate equipment, tools, chemicals, amenities, and linens to complete daily tasks efficiently. Maintain cart in an organized, clean, and safe manner. Stocks cart according to hotel checklists.
- Sweep floors, vacuum flooring, and shampoo carpets.
- Polish furniture and fixtures.
- Maintain cleanliness and appropriate stock of all storage rooms with required linens, supplies, and amenities.
- Collect and dispose of trash and recycled materials collected by Room Attendants and throughout the hotel. May include removing soiled dishes from room attendant carts, public areas, or storage areas while following appropriate procedures to return to service kitchens.
- Assist in property/guest room deep clean process and the movement/arrangement of furniture and equipment.Maintain guest confidentiality.
