Motel 6 Monterey Park is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and hardworking individual to join our housekeeping team. As a Housekeeper, you will play a key role in maintaining clean, comfortable, and safe rooms for our guests, ensuring they have a pleasant and welcoming stay.
Responsibilities:
- Clean guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to Motel 6 standards
- Strip and make beds with triple sheeting
- Sweep floors and clean surfaces; no vacuuming required
- Replace towels and amenities
- Take out trash and remove used linens
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or lost & found items
- Ensure all linens are stain-free and properly folded/tucked
- Follow cleaning checklist and safety procedures
- Maintain a friendly, respectful, and professional attitude with guests and coworkers
Requirements:
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Must be able to stand, bend, and move for extended periods
- Reliable and punctual
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
