Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in guest rooms and the rest of the property, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall guest experience.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Launder linens, towels, and other items according to established procedures.
- Handle dry cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring garments are treated with care.
- Maintain cleanliness in laundry areas and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
- Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and laundry products.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a housekeeping or laundry role, preferably within a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Familiarity with dry cleaning processes and equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting and moving items as necessary.
