Take the lead in maintaining clean, comfortable, and high-quality guest rooms and public areas. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations while guiding and supporting a motivated housekeeping team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, assigning tasks to staff members.
- Train, mentor, and support team members, ensuring they have the necessary supplies and equipment.
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met.
- Assist with cleaning duties during peak periods to support the team.
- Collaborate with pest control and engineering departments to address maintenance and safety issues.
- Manage inventory, handle lost & found items, and resolve room status concerns.
- Conduct staff performance evaluations and foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with management and housekeeping staff.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping supervision or hotel operations is required.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning standards, safety protocols, and sanitation practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and time management skills.
- Familiarity with hotel industry best practices and sanitation regulations.
