What You’ll Be Part Of
As an HR Generalist, you will be an individual contributor within the Human Resources organization supporting HARMAN's manufacturing operations in Pécs. You will partner closely with managers, employees, payroll, training teams, recruitment partners, and staffing agencies to deliver efficient and compliant HR services across the entire employee lifecycle. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining operational HR responsibilities with employee support, recruitment activities, process improvement, and compliance management.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Manage end-to-end recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, hiring coordination, and employment administration to support business staffing needs.
- Monitor workforce planning requirements and coordinate hiring activities to ensure the organization maintains the required staffing levels.
- Partner with temporary staffing agencies and recruitment providers while maintaining related administrative processes and documentation.
- Prepare, coordinate approvals for, and issue employment offers to selected candidates in accordance with company policies.
- Support onboarding activities, organize orientation programs, and ensure new employees receive a positive introduction to HARMAN.
- Prepare employment contracts, job descriptions, contract amendments, and employee lifecycle documentation while maintaining accurate HR records and systems.
- Coordinate employee transfers, organizational changes, exits, disciplinary documentation, and exit interview processes in collaboration with managers.
- Collaborate with payroll to ensure employee information is submitted accurately and on time.
- Prepare HR reports, support internal and external audits, participate in HR projects, and ensure compliance with company policies and IATF 16949 requirements.
What Makes You A Strong Fit
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist or related HR Operations position.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment, onboarding, employee administration, and employee lifecycle management processes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with a confident and professional approach.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and HR systems.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
- Openness to learning new processes, systems, and technologies.
- We see AI as an important part of how work gets done. While tools may vary, a baseline familiarity with using AI to support efficiency, problem-solving, and quality is expected
Bonus Points if You Have
- Experience working in an automotive manufacturing environment.
- Experience supporting internal, customer, or certification audits.
- Familiarity with IATF 16949 quality management requirements.
- Experience managing relationships with staffing agencies and workforce planning activities.
- Experience participating in HR process improvement or cross-functional HR projects.
Things To Know
This role is based in Pécs, Hungary and is a 24 month contract.
Professional working proficiency in English is required.
The role requires close collaboration with managers, employees, payroll, training teams, and recruitment partners.
Participation in audit preparation and compliance activities is required.
The position supports manufacturing operations and therefore requires strong attention to detail and compliance.
