Position Overview:
Soliz Optimum Transports is seeking a qualified and experienced HSE Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish and possess strong safety certifications related to oil and gas industry standards and regulations. This position requires excellent team management skills and a proven track record in safety management within the oil and gas sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage HSE programs to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Provide training and support to employees in HSE practices and procedures.
- Collaborate with management to promote a safety-first culture and ensure continuous improvement in safety practices.
- Prepare and maintain safety documentation, reports, and records as required.
- Act as a resource for employees on safety-related issues and ensure effective communication among team members.
Qualifications:
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
- At least 5 years of experience in safety management within the oil and gas industry.
- Relevant safety certifications pertaining to oil and gas standards and regulations (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH, or equivalent).
- Proven team management and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
