Human Resources Coordinator

A Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, we've served the community since 1971. We are seeking to hire a Human Resources Coordinator.
- $23 to $26 per hour based on skills and experience.
- 9am to 5pm; Monday - Friday.
Human Resources Coordinator Introduction:
The Human Resources Coordinator functions under the direction of the Director of Human Resources to provide support in administration of HR functions such as employee/labor relations, payroll, timekeeping, onboarding, recruitment, documents update, benefits, workers compensation, and other leaves.
Human Resources Coordinator Qualifications:
- High School diploma or the equivalent; Associates degree in human resources or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources.
- Demonstrated intermediate skill with MS Office products (Excel, World and PowerPoint), web-based database and recruiting software.
Human Resources Coordinator Job Summary:
- Ensure that all employee files are updated regularly and contain copies of all Federal, State, Local, and internal forms.
- Conduct periodic employee files and other data audits.
- Assist in payroll preparation by ensuring employee data is updated correctly.
- Review exceptions report for lateness and missed timeclock punches and prepare documentation for disciplinary actions.
- Be the front-line face for daily employee support in answering general HR questions.
- Ensure that all New Hires have the necessary computer access, work email, etc.
- In cooperation with the HR Department, manage the recruiting and onboarding function.
- Assist with the Worker Compensation claims and other leaves filling process.
