We are looking for a Human Resources professional to join the HR team. This position is located at the campus of Cal Baptist University in Riverside, CA. The individual should possess the ability to execute our vision of excellence and to build and motivate a team for achieving this vision.
Qualifications/ Skills:
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in human resources, information systems, business administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered
- One to Three (1-3) years of experience in HR support, HR administration, or related HR technology functions preferred
- Proficiency with HRIS/ payroll systems (Paylocity or similar) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Proficiency in all G-Suite tools - Intermediate Excel knowledge a plus, Adobe and Slack
- Basic understanding of HR processes, compliance, employment laws, and best practices
- Experience with data entry, report generation, and system troubleshooting
- Must posses a high attention to detail, strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to provide excellent customer service to employees and stakeholders
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, capable of handling pressure and with an ability to prioritize and manage competing demands.
- Willingness and ability to learn and grow to meet the changing requirements of the job
Key Responsibilities:
- Supports recruiting by posting jobs in ATS, scheduling hourly position interviews, maintaining accurate applicant status within ATS, and preparing recruiting status reports.
- Supports onboarding by initiating Onboarding, tracking Onboarding task completion, and assisting Candidates with process-related questions.
- Supports training goals by utilizing HRIS system to execute and monitor on-line training tasks, collaborate with location Managers to schedule live-training, and track all training expirations.
- Process and maintain employee data within internal systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness across all modules, including personal information and employment details.
- Process data changes and perform system transactions based on workflows, including new hires, transfers, promotions, terminations, compensation, title changes, and employee documents.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve recruitment administration processes.
- Assist the scheduling department in answering a multi-line phone system, seeking coverage, logging call-ins and informing location managers.
- May provide coverage for front desk receptionist duties.
- Assist in manual checks for distribution.
- Assist HR Manager with other duties, tasks and special projects as assigned such as Retention program(s), Safety Program, and Open Enrollment.
