Summary/Objective:
The HR Manager is responsible for contributing to the company’s performance by providing Human Resources support and strategic consulting on people and organization development strategies to achieve business objectives. The HR Manager will implement, administer, and manage HR policies and programs concerning talent management, employment, compensation, payroll, recruitment, organizational development, communication, employee relations, training, and safety for assigned service lines. The HR Manager will successfully partner with leadership across our Business to provide full generalist support to drive business and revenue growth while maintaining compliance with relevant laws and company policies.
Responsibilities:
- Manages full life-cycle recruitment activities for all business groups.
- Ensures continuous accuracy of data in HR Information System(s).
- Oversee accurate and timely onboarding & off-boarding of employees.
- Partners with internal business groups to manage coordination of HR programs, policies and processes to drive innovation and employee engagement.
- Serves as a trusted advisor for internal stakeholders and partners with leadership teams & other HR (Benefits, Payroll, Compliance, etc.) leaders to grow diverse leadership, talent, and technical capability in the business.
- Provides coaching to leadership, managers, supervisors and employees to support leadership development, business decision-making, HR management, problem-solving and performance management.
- Ensures legal compliance with all Federal, State, and local laws and regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years’ progressive HR management experience
- Background in blue-collar industries and companies, such as industrial, oilfield, construction, etc., required.
- Deep knowledge of talent management, HR investigations and workforce development, preferred best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal coaching skills necessary.
- Team player who takes initiative, strive for continuous improvement, able to think and act independently, challenges positively, and can counsel and provide advice to employees and managers.
- Strong PC skills to include MS Office software, such as Excel, Power Point, Word and ADP preferred.
- Able to gather and analyze statistical data, generate reports and plans, coordinate, implement and administer complex processes
- Must be able to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment and lead by example
- Maintains knowledge of governmental reporting requirements and regulations affecting Human Resources.
- Presents a positive attitude with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel when needed and work extended hours
- Clean driving record and ability to provide proof of the right to work in the United States required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to regularly talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls.
- Ability to stand and walk, stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders.
- Ability to occasionally lift to 25 pounds.
- Ability to frequent and continuously do computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
