Position Title: Human Resources Services Coordinator

Work Arrangement: Hybrid, West Street Office (2 days in office, 3 days hybrid)

Under the general supervision of the Manager Human Resources, the HR Services Coordinator is responsible for managing the administrative tasks related to Human Resources. Their tasks include the management of employee records, assisting in the areas of benefits administration, recruitment and onboarding, payroll processing, and compliance with employment regulations. They will also be responsible for pulling together audit information, compensation & benefit surveys and research, and creating reports, working on department projects. In addition, assist with performance reviews, and employee relations.
Key Job Requirements:
- Performs any functions, within scope of authority and expertise to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to the members served by the Credit Union while performing all duties in accordance with prescribed regulatory compliance guidelines and Credit Union policies and procedures.
- Work with the team on department projects assisting and organizing department projects from planning to executing in a timely manner to meet all deadlines. Collaborate with the team so everyone knows the status of the project.
- Review and Approve Performance Reviews once managers/supervisors have submitted employee reviews to Human Resources. Look for red flags following up with manager/supervisor, and areas of opportunities for the employee.
- Assist HR Generalist in screening calls, setting up hiring panels, and pushing resumes out to the panel for review.
- Keeps abreast of regulatory compliance and law development. Annual Policy, Photo release, maintain employee Consent list to receive electronic notices, maintain hardcopy I9’s Active/Terms.
- Update HR Share Point page, and coordinate articles for the biweekly HEARTbeat for all areas of Human Resources.
- Provides employee support and responds to general inquiries, passing off more complex questions to the appropriate team members while expanding their knowledge.
- Act as department back up for all team members covering vacations and leaves, helping Benefits Administrator with Open Enrollment, HR Generalist with On-boarding when needed, and Payroll Specialist with Compensation items.
- Maintains an up-to-date organizational chart.
- Works on keeping a positive employee image of HR. Assist in researching and developing creative ideas to help employees and/or reward employees to increase morale. Frequent branch/department visits allowing branch/department to express concerns and ask questions.
- Promotes the Credit Union wherever and whenever possible. Required to actively represent the Credit Union in local civic, community and professional organizations.

Position Requirements:
- Preferred: Associate degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Preferred: Experience in Human Resources or related field
- At least three years of related experience.
- Proven to maintain high standards of performance, integrity and confidentiality.
- Networking and communications abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- PC proficient in MS Office.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks with deadlines.
- Written and verbal communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

The salary range for this role is $19.40 to $25.22 an hour. This is the salary range we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may pay more than the posted range for exceptionally qualified individuals. An employee’s pay position within the pay band will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience (job and life), skills (specific and transferable), seniority, performance, and business organizational needs. This range may also be modified in the future.
