Job Description
We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our HVAC/R program. This is a part-time position, professional position reporting directly to the Program Director. The primary responsibility will be to teach HVAC/R courses. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, assist the program director and participate in department training, meetings and graduation.
Qualifications- Completion of an HVAC/R program resulting in a certificate of completion or diploma; Associate degree preferred.
- Certification;
- EPA Universal
- HVAC journeymen- Not required but preferred.
- HVAC certification
- At least three years of experience as an HVAC tech
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, motivated and results driven
- Prior higher education/ postsecondary teaching experience preferred
