Position

Summary

The Omni Demand Generation (ODG) IBE & Media Manager acts as a vital Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the ODG Marketing team for the West Europe Cluster (United Kingdom, Ireland, Belgium & Netherlands). This role is responsible for implementing the cluster's Comms Plan, leading localized media execution, content amplification, and first-party (1P) data strategies for our pet parent population.

The IBE & Media Manager partners closely with the ODG Marketing Managers, Digital Engagement teams, and Analytics SMEs to ensure that media and content plans are seamlessly integrated into the overarching Cluster Brand Experience Plan (BEP) and synchronized with the commercial calendar

The position reports into the ODG Marketing Director of the West Europe Cluster.

Responsibilities include the following but not limited to:

  • Media Strategy & Execution: Lead the cluster-level execution of media plans, including retail media ensuring alignment with regional strategies and local market realities.
  • Content Creation & Amplification: Drive local content creation (focusing on volume, variety, and velocity) and manage amplification strategies.. This includes overseeing social media, influencer, and creator approaches, as well as handling necessary local and cultural overlays/translations.
  • CRM & 1P Data Stewardship: Act as the cluster's CRM orchestrator by mapping automated "Pet Parent Journeys" (e.g., Puppy-to-Adult transitions) and creating localized content libraries (email/SMS templates). Serve as the Data Steward to ensure all 1P data captured from retail activations is clean and compliant. Liaise with Digital Engagement team to ensure collective approach with Professional CRM efforts.
  • Integrated Communications Planning: Develop and manage comprehensive comms plans that bridge regional brand strategy with local market execution, ensuring a unified brand experience across all touchpoints.
  • Cross-Functional Optimization: Partner with the ODG Analytics team and leverage AI-enabled tools to track media effectiveness, evaluate business impact, and optimize ongoing commercial plans and resource choices.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Omnichannel Media Expertise: Deep understanding of the pet parent journey and media landscape across cluster, with proven ability to navigate Retail Media, SEO, CRM, PR, and social/influencer networks.
  • Content & Amplification Agility: Strong grasp of modern content frameworks (e.g., 1+N+X), with the ability to drive the volume, variety, and velocity of localized 'X' content and manage creator/influencer strategies effectively.
  • Analytical Proficiency: Ability to leverage AI-enabled tools, media metrics, and 1st-party data platforms to evaluate campaign effectiveness, optimize ongoing investments, and manage CRM ecosystems.
  • Growth Mindset: Ability to operate in a fluid, fast-paced environment where media budgets and resources are frequently reallocated based on a holistic view of performance.
  • Strategic Syncing: Experience working collaboratively as part of "One Commercial Team," actively partnering with ODG Excellence Managers, Digital Engagement SMEs, and Analytics teams to deliver unified brand experiences

Required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, media planning, or Integrated Brand Experience (IBE), ideally within a global or matrixed organization
  • Demonstrated ability to create, execute, and track comprehensive omnichannel media and communications plans
  • Familiarity of the Shopper Journey Methodology
  • Strong collaboration skills and project management capabilities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Fluency in English (written and oral).

Preferred

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of Consumer Journey Methodology and 1P Data/CRM orchestration
  • Prior experience specifically Retail Media networks, performance marketing, or CRM/1P data acquisition programs
  • Experience managing and directing media or creative agency partners.
  • Pet Nutrition or related FMCG/CPG industry experience
  • Strong tech-fluency and experience using AI-powered tools for content generation and media analytics
  • Able to communicate in one of the cluster languages
