Responsibilities
- Prepare and create a variety of ice cream flavors and desserts according to established recipes.
- Operate and maintain ice cream making equipment, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and making recommendations.
- Upsell products to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and reporting shortages as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation during peak hours.
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or culinary roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a quick service environment.
- Background in sales or upselling techniques to enhance customer engagement.
- Experience in cashiering, customer service, or food handling within the food industry is beneficial.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is essential.
- Prior experience in a restaurant, café, grocery store, or fast food setting is advantageous.
