Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Ice Cream Server to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating delicious ice cream flavors and ensuring a high-quality product is served to our customers. You will work in a fast-paced environment, engaging with customers while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. Your culinary skills and customer service expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall experience at our establishment.
Duties
- Prepare and create a variety of ice cream flavors using quality ingredients.
- Operate ice cream machines and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and upselling products.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including mixing ingredients and managing inventory.
- Ensure proper food handling practices are followed to maintain product quality and safety.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Perform bussing duties as needed to maintain a clean dining area.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or a quick service & fast food restaurant is preferred.
- Culinary experience or kitchen experience is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) is an advantage.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math applications.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is essential.
