ICT Systems Engineer

Salary: £35,000 - 45,000 per year

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Computer Technology or equivalent
• Strong experience in database administration, hardware architecture, network management and computer security
• Competence using Microsoft Office, with strong organisational and communication skills
• Experience handling confidential and commercially sensitive information is desirable
• Candidates must be able to demonstrate their ability to work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical support across ICT infrastructure, systems and business-critical technology platforms
• Act as a technical escalation point for Systems Engineers, providing guidance, mentoring and coordination
• Support the ICT Manager with infrastructure development, maintenance, projects and technology improvements
• Manage and develop company systems, databases and IT solutions
• Provide technical support and training to IT users across the organisation
• Support site projects and remote locations with IT technical requirements
• Manage personnel identification cards, access control and network accounts
• Support cybersecurity, data protection and relevant IT and security accreditations
• Liaise with external IT providers, contractors and internal stakeholders

We are recruiting a Senior IT Systems Engineer to provide technical and operational support across a companys ICT infrastructure, systems and services. This senior role offers the opportunity to provide technical guidance to Systems Engineers and support infrastructure, cybersecurity and technology improvement projects. The salary is up to £45,000 for a 37.5-hour working week. Overtime is available at time and a half, with double time for Sundays and hours above 60 per week.
