Job description

The Implementation Specialist is the builder behind our client work. Our Strategists design the solution. You bring it to life inside HubSpot.

Implementation Specialist

Remote · Full-time employee (US) or contractor (US & international)

About Growth

Growth Operations Firm helps companies navigate growing pains. We design and implement revenue systems that align marketing, sales, service, and operations inside HubSpot.

We're an Elite HubSpot Partner working with mid-market and enterprise organizations that are serious about scale. Our work blends strategy, systems architecture, complex migrations,

integrations, AI implementation, and disciplined execution.

We don't "set it and forget it." We build growth engines.

About the Role

The Implementation Specialist is the builder behind our client work. Our Strategists design the solution. You bring it to life inside HubSpot.

This is a hands-on, internal role. You won't run client meetings or own account relationships. You'll partner closely with Strategists and the delivery team to turn approved plans into clean, scalable HubSpot builds. When a spec has a gap or doesn't make sense, you say so before you build it.

What You'll Own

HubSpot Configuration

  • Create and manage properties, property groups, and field logic
  • Configure deal, ticket, and custom object pipelines
  • Set up users, teams, permissions, and record views
  • Build forms, lists, and segments
  • Set up campaigns, emails, templates, and landing pages

Automation

  • Build workflows from documented requirements
  • Set up lead routing, lifecycle stage updates, and notifications
  • Set up chatbot and form automation
  • Test and troubleshoot automation logic

Data & Migrations

  • Prepare, clean, and format data for imports
  • Run imports and validate results
  • Support migration projects under a Strategist's direction
  • Spot and flag data quality issues
  • Own HubSpot native integration setups

Reporting

  • Build reports and dashboards from defined requirements
  • Check that reports reflect accurate data

Quality & Documentation

  • QA builds against requirements before handoff
  • Keep build notes and configuration documentation current
  • Create simple how-to guides and training materials for client teams
  • Track your work and keep task status updated in our project tools

About You

You are:

  • Competent in HubSpot and proud of clean, accurate work
  • A clear communicator who raises questions and blockers early
  • Proactive: you spot problems before they reach the client
  • Comfortable using AI tools to speed up builds, data cleanup, and documentation
  • Coachable, and looking for a long-term home in this work

You likely have:

  • 1–3 years of hands-on HubSpot experience (admin or implementation)
  • Experience building workflows, properties, and pipelines
  • Strong spreadsheet skills for data cleanup and imports
  • A working understanding of how sales, marketing, and service teams use a CRM
  • HubSpot certifications (a plus)

A Day in the Life

  • Building a set of workflows from a Strategist's requirements doc
  • Cleaning and importing a contact and company file
  • Configuring a new deal pipeline and stage properties
  • QA-ing a lead routing setup before launch
  • Building a sales activity dashboard
  • Documenting a completed build
  • Joining an internal working session to review an upcoming project

You'll support several client projects at once, with priorities set by your project leads.

What Success Looks Like

  • Builds are accurate, tested, and match the spec
  • Strategists trust your work and hand off with confidence
  • Deadlines are met, and blockers are raised early
  • Documentation is clear and current
  • Your HubSpot skills grow quarter over quarter

Compensation

  • Full-time employee (US): $55,000–$65,000/year, plus benefits after 90 days.
  • Contractor (US or international): hourly rate.

All offers, salary or hourly, are based on experience, skills, and location.

  • All roles require at least 6 hours of overlap with US [Pacific/Central] business hours.

Our Hiring Process

Apply through our application page → intro call → a short, paid build exercise → final conversation with the team.

Why This Role Matters

Strategy only matters if it gets built right. Every workflow, pipeline, and report you configure is part of how our clients run their business. You make the plan real.

Growth is an equal opportunity employer.

We hire for skill, grit, and a willingness to learn, and we welcome applicants of every background. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
