Import Agent – Freight Forwarding
Location: Torrance, California | Job Type: Full-Time | Hours: Mon-Fri; 8:30am-5:00pm | Pay Rate: $24+ Hour DOE

We’re a fast-paced freight forwarding company looking for an Import Agent who knows the ins and outs of logistics operations—and knows how to keep customers happy while juggling the details. If you’re ready to join a dynamic team that values your expertise and energy, read on!
What You'll Do:
- Handle all stages of import operations—from start to finish
- Communicate with customers, carriers, and vendors to ensure smooth shipments
- Maintain compliance with customs regulations and documentation
- Manage consolidated cargo and cross-border moves
- Use Cargowise to manage shipments efficiently
- Negotiate rates with trucking companies, carriers, and vendors
- Deliver outstanding service with a smile—even under pressure!
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of freight forwarding experience (must-have!)
- Hands-on experience with Cargowise
- Strong knowledge of customs procedures & compliance
- Solid background in handling consolidated cargo and international shipments
- Proven customer service and relationship-building skills
- Strong communication, tech skills, and a get-it-done attitude
- Team player who’s approachable, solution-oriented, and easy to work with
