Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. Duties
As an In Home Caregiver, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct support and assistance with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
- Administering medication as prescribed and ensuring proper medication management.
- Preparing nutritious meals and assisting with meal planning based on dietary needs.
- Offering companionship and engaging clients in meaningful conversation and activities.
- Assisting clients with mobility and transportation to appointments or social events.
- Supporting individuals with memory care needs through structured activities and routines.
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment within the home.
- Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in the client's condition to family members or healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Experience in patient care, senior care, or working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of CPR and first aid is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols.
- Ability to assist clients with memory care needs effectively.
- Strong cooking skills to prepare healthy meals tailored to client preferences.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Previous experience in a group home setting is a plus but not required.
