Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sewer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in garment construction and sewing, with experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. This role is essential for ensuring high-quality production standards and timely completion of sewing projects.
Duties
- Operate sewing machines to assemble garments according to specifications and quality standards.
- Perform various sewing techniques, including stitching, hemming, and finishing.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring that all items meet company standards.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and maintain production schedules.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
- Assist in the training of new staff on sewing techniques and machine operation as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in garment construction and sewing techniques is required.
- Familiarity with various types of sewing machines and their operation.
- Previous experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
