We’re seeking a warm, patient, and attentive Infant Teacher to join our nurturing early childhood team.
What You’ll Do
As an Infant Teacher, you will:
- Provide a safe, soothing, and engaging environment for infants ages 6 weeks to 12 months
- Build trusting relationships with babies and their families
- Plan and implement activities that support sensory, motor, language, and emotional development
- Follow each child’s individual feeding and sleep schedule
- Maintain open, professional communication with parents through daily reports and check-ins
- Keep classroom clean, organized, and aligned with health and safety standards
- Monitor and document developmental milestones and behaviors
- Collaborate with fellow staff to create a supportive, team-driven culture
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education (or progress toward one)
- At least 1 year of experience working with infants in a licensed child care center
- Strong knowledge of infant care practices, safety, and development
- Ability to communicate with empathy, warmth, and professionalism
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Familiarity with Indiana infant/toddler guidelines
