Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a commitment to providing quality education and care for preschool-aged children while collaborating with parents and staff to support each child's growth.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement techniques to promote good conduct.
- Provide care for infants and toddlers as needed, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan activities that promote social skills, creativity, and critical thinking.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of early childhood education best practices.
Skills
- Strong background in early childhood education principles and practices.
- Experience in babysitting or nannying, demonstrating the ability to care for young children effectively.
- Knowledge of first aid procedures to ensure the safety of children in the classroom.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities, promoting an inclusive learning environment.
- Proficient in classroom management techniques that foster a positive learning atmosphere.
- Ability to provide toddler care with patience and understanding of developmental milestones.
- Skills in behavior management strategies to address various challenges that may arise in the classroom.
- Experience in infant care, ensuring the physical and emotional needs of infants are met appropriately.
- A strong commitment to working collaboratively with students, parents, and fellow educators to support children's learning experiences.
