Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant or Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood development and experience working with young children in a classroom or daycare setting. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children. The Infant or Toddler Teacher will work closely with parents, staff, and other educators to ensure each child receives the best possible care and educational activities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote exploration and discovery.
- Manage classroom behavior and promote positive social interactions while ensuring safety and well-being of all students.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and coordinate curriculum
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and other activities to ensure safety and engagement.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and development
Experience :
Candidates should possess the following skills and experiences:
- Previous experience working with young children is required
- Strong classroom management skills, including behavior management techniques
- Ability to provide caregiving support, including diapering, feeding, and comforting
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues
