Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that engage children in learning activities.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all students.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social skills and emotional growth.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing individual support as needed.
- Maintain effective classroom management to ensure a productive learning atmosphere.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the preschool program and share best practices.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with early childhood education trends.
Experience
- Previous experience working with young children in a preschool or childcare setting is preferred.
- Skills in working with individuals with disabilities are highly valued.
- Experience in nannying, babysitting, or providing infant care will be beneficial.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles is essential for creating effective learning experiences.
- Familiarity with first aid practices is an asset to ensure children's safety.
