The Innovation Fabricator will be working from our Calhoun location for FieldTurf. Tarkett Sports Company is the most trusted brand in the industry when it comes to artificial turf sports field. The Innovations Fabricator plays a key role within the Innovations Team, responsible for fabricating high-quality samples used in testing and trials. This position ensures that all samples are produced accurately, in accordance with established standards, and delivered on time to support the testing schedule. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, the Fabricator collaborates closely with the Innovations Testing Team to meet project timelines and performance expectations.

What you will do:
- Fabricate and assemble testing samples for the Innovations Team.
- Support testing activities and assist in trial execution.
- Transport and relocate samples to designated testing locations.
- Follow detailed installation procedures and ensure compliance with written standards.
- Collaborate with the team to understand testing requirements and sample specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following company policies and safety protocols.
- Assist in the setting up of testing equipment at off-site locations when needed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within the fabrication process.
- Promote and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Support company goals and collaborate with team members across departments.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the department supervisor.
Education & Experience desired:
- Education: High school diploma or GED required, 1–3 months of related experience or training preferred, equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Technical Expertise that will help you succeed:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and database reporting tools.
- Familiarity with Syspro or similar ERP systems is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, safety rules, and procedure manuals.
- Skilled in reading sports field drawings and project manuals is a strong asset.

- Experience working with general contractors (GCs) and managing contractual obligations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.

- Competent in basic algebra, geometry, and measurement calculations.
