Job Summary
Are you a results-driven sales professional with experience in appliances, power equipment, furniture, automotive, or similar retail sales? Do you thrive on helping customers find the right products and enjoy working in a dynamic retail environment? Whitehall Rivers Ace is looking for a motivated Inside Salesperson to join our team!
We are seeking individuals with strong sales experience and a willingness to learn multiple product categories, including appliances, grills, and outdoor power equipment. If you excel at building customer relationships, closing sales, and guiding buyers to the right solution, we’ll provide the training and support you need to succeed.
Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Engagement
· Use your sales expertise to understand customer needs and recommend the best solutions across multiple product lines, including appliances, grills, and outdoor power equipment.
· Build rapport with customers, ask the right questions, and guide them through the buying process.
· Explain product features, warranties, financing options, and protection plans.
· Promote in-store promotions, special offers, and loyalty programs.
· Meet and exceed sales targets while delivering a top-tier customer experience.
Product Knowledge & Learning
· Receive specialized training to become an expert in appliances, grills, and outdoor power equipment.
· Stay informed about industry trends, promotions, and new product launches.
· Demonstrate key product features and explain differences to customers.
Ordering & Delivery Coordination
· Assist customers with placing special orders and tracking product availability.
· Schedule deliveries and installations, ensuring a smooth customer experience.
· Communicate with the warehouse and suppliers regarding product availability.
· Resolve delivery-related concerns such as delays or damaged products.
Store Presentation & Compliance
· Maintain clean, organized, and fully operational product displays.
· Follow safety guidelines and store policies for handling products.
· Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance sales techniques and product knowledge.
Qualifications
· Prior sales experience in appliances, power equipment, grills, outdoor power equipment, furniture, automotive, or other retail sales required.
· Strong ability to build relationships and close sales.
· A willingness to learn about multiple product categories through training and hands-on experience.
· Comfortable working with POS systems, financing applications, and order management software.
· Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
· Capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
