Job Description
AECOM is seeking an Inspector V to be based in San Antonio, Fort Worth, or Austin, TX.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Serves as technical expert in field inspections and audits.
- Recognized as the 'go-to' expert internally and externally.
- Provides guiding direction for inspections on CEI projects.
- Sets direction and goals for inspection.
- External spokesperson on technical project issues.
- Leads the audit strategy for individual's area of expertise.
- Key point of contact for CEI project engagements and member of AECOM senior leadership team.
- Performs daily field inspections and maintains inspection records.
- Trains other inspectors.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- HS + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Must have valid driver’s license.
- Motor vehicle background check required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 15+ years of relevant TxDOT construction inspection experience.
- TxDOT Site Manager software experience.
- TxAPA Level 1A and 1B certification.
- ACI Grade 1 and strength test certification.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $37.00/hour - $62.00/hour.
