We are currently seeking a dynamic, hands-on Installer / Equipment Supervisor to join our Texas City, TX branch. This role involves both yard-based work and up to 50% travel (Monday–Friday) across the United States.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual labor, including equipment maintenance tasks such as cleaning, painting, concrete chipping, and rust removal.
- Inspect, prepare, and load/unload heavy equipment for delivery and return.
- Assemble and disassemble Superdeck® platforms according to manufacturer and engineer specifications.
- Travel to job sites to support construction teams during the installation process.
- Deliver on-site orientation and safety training for construction crews on proper equipment use.
- Maintain equipment condition, perform inspections, and report safety concerns.
- Control inventory and identify necessary tools/parts for each project.
- Command attention and clearly communicate safety procedures in a construction site setting.
- Follow and enforce all safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must pass a post-offer drug test, physical, pre-work screening, and background check
- Ability to repeatedly lift and carry up to 75 lbs for 50 feet
- Valid driver's license required
- Proficiency with computers (PC literate)
- Strong physical condition and ability to work in demanding environments
- Good vision and hearing (corrected or uncorrected)
- Comfortable working at heights and in active construction environments
- Strong spoken and written English communication skills
- Self-starter: reliable, punctual, and motivated with minimal supervision
- Positive, team-player attitude and willingness to take on a wide range of tasks
Preferred (not required):
- Ability to read engineering specifications
- Knowledge of forklifts, rigging, and welding
- Previous experience in construction industry
