Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal (KRSM) offers Co-op/Intern positions in an effort to provide college students from a variety of educational disciplines the opportunity to apply traditional classroom learning to actual work experience. The objectives of the program are as follows:
- To familiarize students with the construction industry and its processes.
- To introduce students to the complex interrelationships which exist in construction.
- To expose students to the management functions within Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal.
- To aid students in acquiring specific job skills that will enhance their value to the industry.
The company will position the student in various entry-level roles or any combination thereof, depending on the company’s and/or the project’s needs. Each month during the assignment, the student will be evaluated by their mentor. At the end of the Co-op/Internship, the student will complete an evaluation of their experience with Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal.
