Job description

What are your contributions to the team?

  • Analyze operational and system data to identify inconsistencies, duplicates, gaps and opportunities for improvement using powerBI.
  • Support data cleanup and remediation activities across business and IT systems.
  • Develop and maintain Power-Automated workflows to reduce manual effort, improve accuracy and streamline recurring activities.
  • Use and combine tools such as ServiceNow, Power Automate, Power BI, Excel and scripting technologies to automate processes and transform data.
  • Create dashboards, reports and performance indicators that provide visibility into data quality, progress and operational results.
  • Collect, structure, validate and reconcile data from multiple sources to support reliable analysis and decision-making.
  • Work with process owners and technical teams to understand business needs and translate them into practical automation and reporting solutions.
  • Document automated workflows, data-cleanup rules, procedures and troubleshooting guidance.
  • Test and validate solutions to ensure data integrity, expected results and alignment with business requirements.
  • Identify and propose new tools, automation opportunities and process improvements that simplify daily work.
  • Contribute, when required, to application monitoring, operational resilience and continuous-improvement activities.

During your internship, you will learn:

  • How to identify root causes of data-quality issues and support structured remediation activities.
  • How to design and implement automated workflows using Microsoft Power Platform tools and other appropriate technologies.
  • How to build dashboards and reports that communicate trends, exceptions, progress and key performance indicators.
  • How to translate operational needs into clear data, automation and process-improvement requirements.
  • Best practices for solution testing, documentation, knowledge management and continuous improvement.
  • The broader role of information systems in supporting data integrity, efficient operations and informed decision-making.
  • Foundational concepts related to application reliability and monitoring as a complementary area of exposure.

How to thrive in this role?

  • You are enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
  • You have strong analytical skills and are comfortable working with structured data, identifying patterns and investigating inconsistencies.
  • You are familiar with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; knowledge of Power BI, Power Automate or Power Apps would be considered a strong asset.
  • You have knowledge of programming, scripting, SQL or data-transformation concepts; this would be considered an asset.
  • You have a good command of French and English, both spoken and written.
  • You demonstrate curiosity, attention to detail and a structured approach to problem-solving.
  • You communicate effectively, collaborate well with multidisciplinary teams and are comfortable documenting your work.
  • You are proactive, organized and motivated to learn new tools and technologies.
