Intern, Public Relations and Communications(Winter 2027)
Job description
During your internship, you will contribute to:
- Update key media relations documents (i.e. backgrounders, executive bios, boiler plates, key messages, media kits, press releases, etc…) as required.
- Support the publication of the company’s monthly newsletter to customers.
- Support media requests including respond to journalist image requests, distribution of press kits and so on.
- Assist in posting press releases and customer communications to Bombardier websites; updating the sites and content as required.
- Proactively populate relationship management database with all current and relevant media contacts to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Provide support to internal and external communications team as required.
- Participate in and assist team’s budget governance initiatives and Key Performance Indicator reporting.
- Write documents for the media, Bombardier customer or the general public
- Collaborate on major public relations projects by providing tactical support to the team members.
- Plan, create and distribute various external communications deliverables.
What we are looking for:
- You are pursuing studies in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, in both English and French.
- You have an autonomous, self-motivated, meticulous and organized work style.
- You possess the ability to multi-task with ease and have a capacity to pay strong attention to detail.
- You have a comfort level with unplanned deliverables, work with a sense of urgency when required, and are comfortable working cross-functionally.
- You have a solid computer background with a strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
