Campus & Early‑Career Recruiting ( 45 %)
- Design and execute annual campus recruiting plan for target universities/colleges (accounting, data analytics, IT, finance).
- Attend career fairs, information sessions, classroom presentations, and case competitions; serve as the primary 415 Group ambassador on campus.
- Develop relationships with career‑services staff, accounting faculty, Beta Alpha Psi chapters, and student organizations.
- Manage on‑campus and virtual interview days, including interviewer training and candidate care.
Experienced‑Hire Recruiting ( 40 %)
- Partner with service‑line leaders to scope current and forecast future staffing needs (audit, tax, advisory, IT).
- Source passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, alumni networks, state CPA societies, industry meet‑ups, and employee referrals.
- Screen, interview, and shepherd candidates through the process, ensuring a positive, timely experience.
- Negotiate and deliver offers in collaboration with HR and line leadership.
Talent Operations & Employer Brand ( 10 %)
- Own our applicant‑tracking system (ATS): job postings, workflow updates, analytics, compliant record‑keeping.
- Track funnel metrics (time‑to‑fill, source effectiveness, diversity) and report insights to leadership; recommend improvements.
- Craft engaging job advertisements and social posts in concert with the marketing team; ensure messaging aligns with 415 Group’s culture.
Networking events ( 5 %)
Attend Ohio Society of CPAs and other miscellaneous networking events
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related field.
- 2+ years full‑cycle recruiting experience including campus or early‑career programs.
- Demonstrated success filling professional services, finance, or accounting positions.
- Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter or similar sourcing tools.
- Working knowledge of federal and state employment law and OFCCP/EEO compliance.
- Ability to travel locally to 5 universities and events ( 15 % of time; mostly in fall and spring).
Preferred
- Prior experience recruiting for a public accounting firm or other CPA‑driven environment.
- Familiarity with Handshake or similar campus‑recruiting platforms.
- LinkedIn Recruiter certification.
