Help People Say Yes to a New Life.
At Western Pennsylvania Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, we change lives every day—one patient, one story, one smile at a time. We are looking for a motivated, compassionate, and purpose-driven Internal Sales Specialist (also known as an Implant Treatment Coordinator) who believes in the life-changing power of confidence, health, and hope.
This role is not just about selling a procedure—it’s about guiding patients toward reclaiming their self-worth, joy, and dignity through full-mouth reconstruction, dental implants, and advanced surgical care.
What You’ll Do
This is a sales-centered, patient-facing role designed to help individuals overcome fear, finances, and doubt—and move forward with life-changing treatment.
Patient Consultation & Sales
- Serve as the main point of contact for patients exploring full-arch dental implant reconstruction, All-on-4, zygomatic implants, and complex oral surgery.
- Present treatment options, timelines, financial investment, and payment plans with clarity, empathy, and confidence.
- Guide patients from the first consult to the day of surgery—serving as their advocate, educator, and partner.
- Close high-value treatment plans with integrity and consistency.
Emotional & Financial Coaching
- Help patients navigate not only cost, but fear, trauma, and past dental neglect.
- Offer clarity and support through customized financing options, insurance and third-party payment solutions.
- Inspire belief in what’s possible—many of our patients walk in broken and walk out changed.
Collaboration & Continuity
- Work closely with our surgical, nursing, and administrative teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in case presentations, internal marketing strategy, and patient education efforts.
- Follow up with leads, re-engage inactive patients, and maintain active communication to build long-term relationships.
Training & Growth
- You bring the sales experience, we’ll teach you the surgical side.
- Comprehensive training in oral surgery, dental implants, and patient communication provided.
- Ongoing mentorship and opportunities for advancement in our expanding, mission-focused organization.
You Are
- A skilled closer with experience in consultative, high-ticket sales
- A natural communicator—someone who listens deeply, speaks clearly, and connects with compassion
- A believer—in people, in second chances, and in the emotional power of a healthy smile
- Hungry to grow personally and professionally
- Organized, reliable, and deeply committed to delivering world-class care
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of proven success in sales, preferably in consultative or relationship-based environments (medical aesthetics, luxury retail, elective surgery, real estate, etc.)
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive discussions around health, trauma, and finances with empathy and professionalism
- Comfortable presenting treatment plans up to $30,000+ and discussing financing options
- CRM or patient management software experience preferred
- Medical or dental experience is not required—but a willingness to learn is essential
