Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented food preparation and delivery worker.
In this role, you will be responsible for cafe operations, such as food preparation, tracking inventory of multiple cafe locations, and preparing the deliveries to keep each location stocked.
Duties
- Food Preparation: Prepare and portion food items throughout the week according to standardized recipes and safety guidelines, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Inventory Management: Track inventory levels at multiple café locations to ensure each location remains properly stocked.
- Delivery & Restocking: Deliver prepared food and necessary supplies to café locations on a scheduled weekly basis, restocking items as needed.
- Stock Monitoring: Monitor stock usage at each location and identify replenishment needs.
- Ordering Support: Organize and maintain inventory and ordering sheets to support accurate weekly supply orders.
- Communication: Coordinate with café staff to confirm stock levels, address shortages, and adjust deliveries as needed.
- Cleanliness & Compliance: Maintain a clean and organized prep area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
Skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for deliveries.
- Strong organizational skills to manage inventory across multiple locations.
- Basic food preparation skills with attention to consistency, quality, and safety.
- Time management and ability to follow a set delivery and prep schedule.
- Ability to lift and transport boxes or food containers (up to ~40 lbs).
- Clear communication skills for coordinating with café staff and reporting stock needs.
- Attention to detail when updating inventory sheets and prepping orders.
- Familiarity with food safety and hygiene standards (ServSafe certification a plus).
- Problem-solving skills for managing shortages, substitutions, or scheduling conflicts.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $14.50 per hour
