We are a New York-based fashion and lifestyle brand focused on sustainable luxury. We’re currently seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Assistant to help manage FBA returns, reorganize inventory, and prepare international shipments during our July fulfillment cycle.
Job Purpose:
This role involves handling FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) return shipments, sorting and repacking inventory, and preparing outbound boxes for international shipping. It requires solid organizational skills, familiarity with Excel or Google Sheets, and hands-on experience with physical inventory handling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect FBA return shipments
- Sort and organize inventory by item type or shipping destination
- Repack inventory into new boxes for international shipping (every 2 weeks)
- Track stock using Excel or Google Sheets
- Create basic inventory reports and shipment summaries
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the workspace
- Communicate with logistics/shipping contacts as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience with inventory, warehousing, or e-commerce operations preferred
- Competence in using Excel/Google Sheets (sorting, tracking, basic formulas)
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and efficient with physical tasks
- Familiarity with Amazon FBA, Shopify, or shipping platforms is a plus
- Must be able to lift and move light-to-medium weight boxes
- Punctual and self-motivated
Working Conditions:
- Location: On-site in Chelsea, New York City
- Duration: July only
- Schedule: 1–2 days per week
- Minimum hours: 3 hours per session
- Shipping cycle: Outbound inventory sent every 2 weeks
- Flexible days/hours, but must be reliable with deadlines
