The Cake House is hiring for our store in Detroit!
Founded with a passion for providing trusted, high-quality cannabis products to help individuals manage chronic pain, nausea, PTSD, and other common conditions, The Cake House is excited to grow our team. We are currently looking for a talented Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic and dedicated staff.
The Inventory Control Specialist will review and monitor inventory levels and restock the store when needed so the aesthetics are kept up all while providing outstanding customer service.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Conducting beginning of day and end of day inventory data entries
- Fulfilling online pick-up and delivery orders in a timely and efficient manner
- Ensuring sales floor is consistently replenished and properly stocked
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Participating in all periodic physical inventory audits, as scheduled by the company
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior inventory management experience, preferably in the cannabis industry
- Strong retail experience
- Active Program Training
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional customer service
- Flexible work schedule
- Prior work on computer and with sales software
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to exchange accurate information, detect/identify documents and the information contained in them, continuous mobility throughout the store on a daily basis, lift and move up to 50 lbs. on a daily basis, stoop, kneel, and crouch on a daily basis and climb a ladder and maintain balance on a daily basis.

Pay Range: From $17.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on experience
