We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor/Maintenance professional to join our team. The Janitor/Maintenance role encompasses various tasks related to cleaning and maintaining both residential and commercial properties.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and dusting to ensure a clean environment.
- Execute floor care activities such as buffing and waxing to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Conduct custodial duties in both residential and commercial settings, ensuring all areas are well-maintained.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment.
- Handle industrial cleaning responsibilities as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Engage in residential painting projects when required, contributing to the overall aesthetic of the properties.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or needs for replenishment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and address any maintenance issues promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment operation is advantageous.
- Experience in facilities maintenance or commercial cleaning is a plus.
- Skills in buffing floors and performing basic repairs will be beneficial for this role.
- A background in porter services or industrial cleaning environments will be considered an asset.
