Job Details:
2nd Shift Feed Mill Dispatcher FM03
Monday through Friday - 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. or until finished
Depending on the location’s business needs additional shifts/weekend work may be required.
$19.15 per hour.
Must not own, possess, or otherwise maintain any domestic, wild or exotic fowl to be considered.
Will not consider if an applicant has been employed by Tyson 3X or more.
This position is responsible for receiving orders, recording material, scheduling feed delivery, and dispatching trucks while maintaining a a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
1. Ability to read and write in order to receive and document orders
2. Ability to schedule loads of feed by creating and organizing feed tickets and maintaining them for record keeping.
3. Ability to dispatch loads of feed and distribute them evenly among driver/team members within DOT rules and regulations.
4. Ability to answer calls from Service Techs and Growers while maintaining a good working relationship with them.
5. Ability to organize/flex task and change priorities throughout the day
6. Able to work in hot, dry, dusty, wet and cold environments. Heavy exposure to ingredient dust and inclement weather.
7. Ability to work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours as required based on demand scheduling
8. Ability to work in elevated areas and follow all safety procedures
9. Able to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity Guidelines including an agreement to avoid any avian species
10. Maintain good housekeeping including service areas
11. Communicate to all levels of Operations including Customers and Vendors both orally and in writing where required
12. Follow and Operate within all Tyson Health and Safety protocols
13. Able to Lift up to 60 lbs. and/or up to 100 lbs with assistance
14. Stand, Sit, Walk, Climb Ladder/Stairs with the ability to sustain physical activity throughout the day.
15. Complete all other tasks assigned by management.

Requirements:

Biosecurity: Must sign a Bio-security agreement to avoid any non-commercial avian species such as chickens, ducks, birds, etc.
The Company Animal Welfare Policy must be followed at all times.
Animal Welfare background check is required.
A valid state driver’s license and a clean motor record, may need to transport drivers to/from truck shop.
Only applicants who reside in the following counties in AR, Washington, Benton, and Madison, Adair County in OK and McDonald County in Missouri, within a 50-mile radius of the feed mill will be considered.
