Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Supports the Release Management Team Lead in planning, coordinating, and executing release activities across various environments (development, testing, staging, production).
Contributes to defining and documenting release management strategies, policies, and procedures, incorporating best practices from agile-informed and DevOps frameworks.
Collaborates with Development, Testing, Operations, and Security Teams to plan and schedule release activities and resources, ensuring alignment with continuous delivery practices.
Supports the management of the release pipeline, monitoring release progress, troubleshooting problems, and conducting quality assurance and security audits on releases.
Collects and analyzes feedback and metrics on releases, identifies areas for improvement, maintains release documentation, and receives guidance from senior staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related discipline or 4 additional years’ of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
4+ years of experience with 2+ years of position-specific relevant experience.
DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification within 6 months of commencing work on the Task Order.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in software development or related discipline.
2+ years of experience in an agile-informed development environment.
Familiarity with agile-informed and DevOps principles and practices.
Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.
Clearance Requirements:
Must have an active Secret clearance.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
