Mantech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Journeyman Release Engineer to join our team in Doral, FL.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Supports the Release Management Team Lead in planning, coordinating, and executing release activities across various environments (development, testing, staging, production).

• Contributes to defining and documenting release management strategies, policies, and procedures, incorporating best practices from agile-informed and DevOps frameworks.

• Collaborates with Development, Testing, Operations, and Security Teams to plan and schedule release activities and resources, ensuring alignment with continuous delivery practices.

• Supports the management of the release pipeline, monitoring release progress, troubleshooting problems, and conducting quality assurance and security audits on releases.

• Collects and analyzes feedback and metrics on releases, identifies areas for improvement, maintains release documentation, and receives guidance from senior staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related discipline or 4 additional years’ of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.

• 4+ years of experience with 2+ years of position-specific relevant experience.

• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification within 6 months of commencing work on the Task Order.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in software development or related discipline.

• 2+ years of experience in an agile-informed development environment.

• Familiarity with agile-informed and DevOps principles and practices.

• Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.

Clearance Requirements:

• Must have an active Secret clearance.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

• The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
